A Little Known Secret About Watching Football
With the coming onslaught of the football mania, I thought of sharing with your readers an allaying and soothing discovery that I made recently!
I had had it up to here with banal commentaries and stupid statistics that accompany every play that is made and every pass that is missed.
After all, those same statistics are flashed on the screen for me to see!
So the question was: How could I profitably use my time, away from the meaningless chatter and pally banter of sports commentators?
Voila! Turn the commentators OFF.
I have my radio stereo tuned to my favorite classical radio station, listening to glorious and gorgeous classical music! There is nothing like seeing an impossible catch made to the background music provided by Bach or Beethoven!
I wonder how many of your readers have discovered this little known secret!
