Police are looking for a woman they believe has robbed five Orange County banks this month.
The latest robbery occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday in the Garden Grove branch of Wells Fargo Bank in the 1200 block of Harbor Boulevard. The woman handed a teller a note demanding money, Garden Grove Police Lt. John Woods said, and walked out with an undetermined amount of cash.
No weapon was seen, Woods said.
A woman fitting the same description is a suspect in two other bank robberies in Garden Grove, as well as one in Huntington Beach and one in Westminster, Woods said.
She is described as a Caucasian in her 30s, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with collar-length blonde hair, Woods said. She was wearing a white shirt and a khaki-colored jacket during Thursday’s robbery, Woods said.
