A judge has scheduled the same trial date--May 14--for Mossy Cade and James Lofton, Green Bay Packers players charged in unrelated cases of sexual assault.
“What a clever idea,” Lofton’s attorney said. “It sure gets rid of one big problem I was concerned with and that was how to deal with publicity the jury may have been exposed to.” The original trial date for Cade had been two weeks before Lofton’s trial.
