Culver City : Council OKs Raise for Itself
The City Council has tentatively approved a 10% pay raise for council members which will boost salaries in 1988 to $440 a month from $400.
The proposal must be approved a second time to become law. The council’s previous raise was in May, 1986.
A city staff report said that under California law, Culver City may increase council salaries by 5% per year.
