Bolder Than Bold Rallies to Win at Santa Anita

Heavily favored Bolder Than Bold, ridden by Gary Baze, rallied from last place to first in the final furlong and won by a neck in the $45,000 feature race for older horses Friday at Santa Anita.

Bolder Than Bold, who earned $24,750 with the win, was clocked in 1:09 4/5 for the six furlongs over a fast track.

Hilco Scamper, ridden by Gary Stevens, finished second, 1 3/4 lengths ahead of Faro, ridden by Laffit Pincay in the five-horse race for 4-year-olds and up.

Bolder Than Bold paid $3.40, $2.60 and $2.10.
