Titans’ Asgari Wins 14th Straight Match
Cal State Fullerton’s Ardeshir Asgari got his 14th straight victory Saturday in the All-California Collegiate wrestling championships at San Francisco State University.
Asgari took first place in the 158-pound division. Fullerton also received third-place finishes from Rich Zele (142) and Jose Flores (177).
The Titans finished sixth in the tournament with 37.75 points, behind Cal State Bakersfield (54.75), San Francisco State (43.00), Fresno State (41.00), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (39.25) and Stanford (38.50).
