Qantas Airline is offering a new fare to Australia of $896 round trip to Cairns, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. The fare is good from May through September.

SkyWest will become a connection partner with Delta Airlines beginning April 1. Schedules and services of SkyWest will be coordinated with Delta’s to provide passengers with connecting flights to and from communities on its route system at Delta’s Los Angeles and Salt Lake City hubs.

Phoenix-based America West Airlines will begin 18 new daytime Las Vegas flights on Feb. 15 to include all four major L.A. airports. These will give the airline 68 daily L.A.-area departures with connections in Las Vegas and Phoenix to cities served by the airline including ski gateways at Grand Junction, Colo., and Salt Lake City.
