Mark Breland will be an overwhelming favorite to become the second member of 1984 U.S. Olympic boxing team to win a pro title tonight when he fights Harold Volbrecht in Atlantic City, N.J., for the vacant World Boxing Assn. championship.
The 30-year-old Volbrecht, who failed in a WBA title bid against Pipino Cuevas in 1980, is ranked No. 1. Breland is No. 2.
Evander Holyfield, the Olympic light heavyweight bronze medalist, holds the WBA junior heavyweight title.
