USC, UCLA Will Meet in Volleyball Final

USC and UCLA will meet tonight in the championship match of the UCLA volleyball tournament at Pauley Pavilion after scoring victories over Pepperdine and Stanford, respectively, in the semifinals Friday night.
USC, ranked No. 4 in the country, defeated two-time NCAA champion Pepperdine, 15-7, 15-5, 15-4. Sophomore Tom Duke had 17 kills to lead the Trojans (11-4). Pepperdine, ranked No. 3 going into the match, is 4-2.
UCLA senior Arne Lamberg had 19 kills and 4 blocks to lead the No. 2-ranked Bruins over No. 8 Stanford, 15-8, 15-11, 15-4.
