San Diego College Baseball : San Diego State Rallies to Beat Point Loma, 11-4

The San Diego State baseball team had three triples during a four-run rally in the fifth inning en route to an 11-4 nonconference victory over Point Loma Nazarene College at Smith Field Tuesday.

Bob Parry was 3 for 4, including a home run, two triples and four runs batted in, to pace the Aztecs (3-0). Greg Page (1-0) pitched the first five innings for the victory.

Point Loma is 0-3.

University of San Diego 20, California Baptist 6--Sean Barron’s grand slam highlighted a 12-run eighth inning for USD (4-1) in the nonconference game at USD. Barron was 4 for 6 with six RBIs. USD’s Louis Skertch (2-0) pitched the first seven innings. Chris Stout was 3 for 3 and scored five times for Cal Baptist (0-3).

UC San Diego 10, Master’s College 4--UCSD scored seven runs off four walks and four singles in the second inning. UCSD’s Rick Nowak (2-0) pitched the first seven innings.
