Rep. Bob Carr (D-Mich.) was elected chairman of the Congressional Arts Caucus Wednesday. Carr has been a member of the caucus since 1983 and is a longtime supporter of the arts. About 200 members of the House and Senate belong to the bipartisan group that promotes the arts and monitors legislation that could affect them.
