Zany Tactics, ridden by Jack Kaenel and carrying 120 pounds, was a head in front of Bedside Promise at the wire and returned $3.40.

Bolder Than Bold finished fourth and last in the race for 4-year-olds and up. Because there were only four entries, there was no show wagering. Amanotherbrother, Hilco Scamper and Rocky Marriage were scratched.

Zany Tactics led most of the way but never by much over Zabaleta or Bedside Promise. Zabaleta passed Zany Tactics in the final strides.
