Cal State Fullerton Wins in Baseball
Greg Mannion doubled home Jim Osborne in the ninth inning of the second game to give Cal State Fullerton a 5-4 victory and a sweep of a nonconference baseball doubleheader Saturday with the University of Arizona.
The Titans (3-5) scored two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning of the first game to take a 7-6 decision.
Fullerton reliever Paul Johnson (2-0) won both ends of the doubleheader. Arizona reliever Wayne Gilles wound up on the losing end both games.
Greg Mannion went 6 for 7 with three runs batted in for the Titans.
