Just when it seemed all that could be said had been said, Theodore Sorensen has made what could go down as the definitive comment on the overly hyped and controversial “Amerika” miniseries. The former John F. Kennedy aide whom the United Nations hired as its lawyer in its dispute with ABC was asked by a Times reporter to play TV critic and review what he had seen of the program. The former New Frontiersman thought a minute, then rendered this opinion: “It’s a soap opera which answers in the affirmative the question all of us are dying to know: ‘Is there sex after communism?’ ”
