Island Pictures has acquired North American distribution rights to Diane Keaton’s feature film directorial debut, “Heaven,” from RCA Productions. “Heaven” deals with comic and ironic perceptions of life in the hereafter, involving opinions from many individuals and collections of memorable depictions of heaven from motion pictures over the years. “I am thrilled that Island Pictures will be distributing ‘Heaven,’ ” said Keaton. “They have a reputation for creating popular successes with unusual films.”
