Temple Makes a Parade by Itself
Parades are a Pasadena tradition, but last week’s Odd Fellows Temple trek isn’t likely to become an annual event.
The two-story, 750-ton building was moved Saturday from 175 N. Los Robles Ave., where it had stood since 1933, to 122 N. El Molino Ave. to make way for the city’s Plaza Las Fuentes development.
Because of the complexity of the move, spectators were restricted to the corner of Euclid Avenue and Union Street, where they were entertained by the Pasadena Boys’ Club Brass and Wind Ensemble.
