ABC News on Wednesday named Pamela Hill to replace the ousted Av Westin as executive producer of “The Blessings of Liberty,” the network’s ambitious Sept. 16 special celebrating the bicentennial of the Constitution. Hill is vice president and executive producer of ABC’s “Close Up” documentary programs. Westin, a vice president, was suspended indefinitely last week after a public dispute with division president Roone Arledge.
