Mar Vista : Center Gets $6,000 Grant

The Westside Center for Independent Living has received a $6,000 grant from Hughes Aircraft Co. for its computer-training project.
The project is an intensive, nine-month course providing training and job placement in computer programming, microcomputer management and related data processing positions to people with disabilities. The center is located at 12901 Venice Blvd.
