Los Angeles Police Department investigators are searching for a suspect in the stabbing death of another man early Saturday at a crowded bar in Sylmar, officials said.
Detective Jim Bojlecki said Don Rodriguez, 31, of Sylmar, is being sought in the slaying of Daniel Cloyd, 41, of San Fernando, who was stabbed several times in the upper body at the Silver Fox bar around 1:25 a.m.
Rodriguez is alleged to have attacked Cloyd without warning in front of about 30 patrons and then to have fled, Bojlecki said.
Cloyd was pronounced dead at the scene, the detective said.
