James Read, who played Northerner George Hazard in the miniseries “North and South,” will portray Cary Grant in “Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story.” Grant was Hutton’s third husband. Ed Marinaro has a small role as a high school counselor in “What If I’m Gay?,” a “CBS Schoolbreak Special” that is set to air March 31. It’s about a teen-ager (played by Richard Joseph Paul) who, as the network describes it, is “struggling to come to terms with his confusion about his sexual orientation.” . . . Marinaro also stars in a forthcoming movie for CBS’ prime-time schedule, “Sharing Richard,” about three women (Eileen Davidson, Hillary Bailey Smith and Nancy Frangione) who find they are all dating the same man.
