Abandoned Cars to Be Removed
Abandoned cars parked illegally on the streets of Northeast Los Angeles will be ticketed and towed away as part of a beautification program launched by Los Angeles City Councilman Richard Alatorre.
Residents of Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Glassell Park and Mount Washington should call the city Department of Transportation at (213) 485-5661 to report abandoned cars.
Alatorre said cars would be ticketed by police within two days and towed within a week. He suggested that residents call his Eagle Rock field office at (213) 254-5295 if the cars are not removed within that time.
