Motorist Killed: A Fullerton man was killed on an Orange Freeway transition road after his car swerved from the fast lane of the roadway, skirted across a painted gore point separation and slammed into a guard rail, authorities said Wednesday. Paul S. Allen, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the transition road from the Orange Freeway to the westbound Riverside Freeway in Anaheim at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. Witnesses told officers that the car had been swerving as it traveled south on the Orange Freeway at speeds of 55 to 65 m.p.h.
