2 Arrested in Cocaine Case: An Anaheim man has been arrested in connection with a seizure by federal agents of 50 pounds of cocaine with a street value of about $4 million at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. Gloria Patricia Almendrales, 23, of Miami, Fla., and Luis Fernando Garzon-Hoyos, 29, of Anaheim, were arrested Tuesday for investigation of conspiracy to distribute narcotics, agent Bill Ruzzamenti said. Both are Colombian citizens, he said. The seizure of the cocaine, which was in a suitcase that had been checked aboard an American West flight, culminated a six-month Drug Enforcement Administration investigation, Ruzzamenti said.
