Local News in Brief : AIDS-Class Measure Goes to L.A. Council
A measure aimed at stemming AIDS by requiring convicted prostitutes, their customers and drug users to attend a 2 1/2-hour class was introduced in City Council Friday by Councilman Joel Wachs.
The council will either discuss the proposal Tuesday or assign it to a committee for consideration, a Wachs aide said.
