5.8 Earthquake Jolts Adak Island in Aleutians

ADAK ISLAND, Alaska —
An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook Adak Island near the tip of the Aleutian Island chain on Saturday but no serious damage or injuries were reported, officials at the Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer said.
