Police have no suspects in the slaying of a 24-year-old man who was shot several times in the upper body and head and left in the backyard of a Southeast San Diego home, said Bill Robinson, a San Diego Police Department spokesman.

Vince Herman Littleton IV of San Diego was found dead Sunday night at the scene, a house in the 800 block of Toyne Street. Neighbors had reported hearing gunshots about 11:42 p.m., Robinson said.

Police believe Littleton was shot in the house, then dragged outside, Robinson said.

No weapons were found at the scene, and police would not identify the owner of the house.
