California has a new multimillionaire.

Lottery officials Sunday said that just one ticket was sold during the week for the winning numbers--17, 20, 21, 33, 39 and 49--that were selected in the Lotto 6/49 game, which means the purchaser will take home the whole jackpot of $12,009,480.

The ticket was sold at a market, the Food Corral on Carmel Avenue in the Monterey County seaside city of Marina. But the name of the buyer is still not known.

Whoever it is will receive an annual check for $480,000 for the next 20 years.

Authorities said eight people won $148,751 each by picking five of the six numbers plus the bonus number, which was 13.
