The bodies of two San Fernando Valley men were found Tuesday in 60 feet of water off Malibu Colony, in the wreckage of a light plane that crashed into the ocean last week, authorities said.

The bodies were identified as those of John Harris, 22, of Northridge and Matthew Frey, 23, of Canoga Park, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Ford said. They had been presumed dead since the plane plunged into the Pacific Thursday night while on a sightseeing tour from Van Nuys Airport.

The pilot of the Piper PA-28 Warrior, Roger Amiriam, 23, of Burbank, and a passenger, Laurie Thuer, 21, of Simi Valley, were not seriously injured in the crash.
