Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest, Prince Edward, has “hit the Beeb”: The 23-year-old royal scion wrote and appeared in a 45-minute television program on the British Broadcasting Corp. about a series of annual youth awards sponsored by his father, Prince Philip. Not every moment the young prince submitted was royal, however. Edward, who himself has won the Duke of Edinburgh award, simply laughed when a black youth taunted, “Well, it’s Daddy’s, isn’t it?” Edward, fifth in line to the throne, resigned from the Royal Marines last January, breaking a family tradition of military service and, according to newspaper reports, incurring his father’s wrath.
