Another group of Muslim and Christian teen-agers are to stay with American families this summer in an effort to learn how to get along with each other upon their return to Lebanon, said the Fresno man who brought 16 Lebanese students to the United States a year ago. Vincent Lavery, who founded Children’s Committee 10 in 1981 to bring Protestant and Catholic children here from Northern Ireland each summer, said after returning from a reunion meeting with the first group in Lebanon that it is “essential” that children there have some hope.
