A Southeast San Diego man who was on the Police Department’s 10 Most Wanted List for an assortment of burglary and robbery allegations was captured late Monday in Louisiana, police said Tuesday.
James Henry Gill, 23, was arrested in Baton Rouge after fugitive detectives determined that he had been living there and in New Orleans about four months, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
A warrant for Gill’s arrest was issued in October after detectives concluded that he was responsible for numerous residential burglaries and robberies in the previous year in San Diego County.
Gill also was being held on suspicion of unlawful interstate flight to avoid prosecution, Robinson said.
