Brad Hawthorne of San Francisco set a course record with an easy victory in the men’s division of the second Big Sur International Marathon. Hawthorne’s time for the 26.2-mile course was 2 hours, 16 minutes and 39 seconds. Patty Selbicky of Pacific Grove won the women’s division with a time of 3:02.59.
