Two men carrying briefcases and wearing business suits tied up two Tarzana jewelry store employees Saturday, then fled with jewelry worth an estimated $250,000, Los Angeles police said.

Police Officer David Buck said the robbers, who appeared to be between 30 and 35 years old, entered Lebelle Jewelry on Ventura Boulevard at 10:30 a.m.

They brandished pistols, police said, and tied up two employees with telephone cord.

After cleaning out a display case, the two ran out the door, Buck said.
