Local News in Brief : Disney Center Meeting Will Be Televised
Worried that a curious public might create too big a crowd at tonight’s Burbank City Council meeting on a proposed Walt Disney Co. retail-entertainment center, city officials have decided to televise the session.
The telecast will start at 7 p.m. on the Sammons Communications cable system’s public access channel, 35. Disney officials will unveil plans for a shopping-entertainment development for a 40-acre redevelopment site in downtown Burbank.
