Three leaders of the Vagos Motorcycle Club and a female associate pleaded guilty in Los Angeles federal court to narcotics conspiracy charges stemming from a 23-count indictment against 10 members of the Southern California club. Terry (T-Bone) Brone, head of the club’s South Bay chapter, Thomas (Sunny) Mason, president of the Desert Hot Springs chapter, Robert (Crazy Bob) Ansel and Holly Ann Coates all pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamines in a federal investigation conducted by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. Charges against a fifth club member, Louis (Wolf) Vaith, were expected to be dismissed. U.S. District Judge A. Wallace Tashima set sentencing for June 17.
