Former Phoenix Suns Coach John MacLeod has been asked to return for further talks about the Clippers’ coaching job, and former NBA coach Cotton Fitzsimmons also is a candidate , the Phoenix Gazette said.
Fitzsimmons told the Gazette he spoke with Clipper Vice President Elgin Baylor Friday night. Fitzsimmons declined to say whether he had been invited for an interview.
