Windsurfer Rescued After Cold Night Adrift

BOSTON —
A windsurfer rescued by the Coast Guard after a cold night adrift on her board said Sunday that she passed the hours singing “99 Bottles of Beer On the Wall” and paddling to keep warm.
Lynette Freidin, 30, was found Saturday in Nahant Bay, about 10 miles from her starting point off Marblehead, and was hospitalized with mild hypothermia. She said high winds had prevented her from reaching shore.
