Contra Costa County supervisors have put their support behind a proposed ordinance requiring pit bull terrier owners to display a warning sign. The proposed ordinance should be ready for a final vote in two weeks. Supervisors discussed banning pit bulls two years ago but the idea was dropped because no one could agree on how to define a p1769218146have been attacked by the dogs in the county this year.
