Sentence for Rape Is 146 Years, 8 Months
A Northridge man was sentenced Thursday to 146 years and eight months in state prison for kidnaping and raping a Palmdale woman.
Eric Lars Anenberg, 36, was convicted last month of 22 counts of robbery, rape, kidnaping, forcible oral copulation and sodomy. He was sentenced in Lancaster by Superior Court Judge Bernard Kaufman, who could have imposed a sentence of more than 203 years.
Anenberg was convicted of raping the 19-year-old woman at several Antelope Valley locations in July, 1985.
Anenberg was convicted in 1977 of raping another young Palmdale woman, a crime that was later chronicled in the television movie “Mrs. R’s Daughter.”
