Look Right, Left, Up if You See This Sign

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. —
A plane that dented a car roof as it landed has prompted town selectmen to order stop signs installed on the road at the end of an airport runway.
The stop signs are aimed at forcing motorists to look around for low-flying aircraft landing at the Great Barrington Airport, Selectman Edward Morehouse said after a meeting this week of the Board of Selectmen.
No injuries were reported in the April 29 incident, in which a twin-engine plane brushed a passing car.
