Local News in Brief : Windows Smashed in at Least 26 Cars
The windows of at least 26 cars were smashed late Thursday and early Friday in a broad area of Sun Valley and North Hollywood, Los Angeles police said.
The vandalism was reported in an area bounded roughly by Roscoe Boulevard on the north, Oxnard Street on the south, and Clybourn and Coldwater Canyon avenues on the east and west, Officer Keith Wong said.
Witnesses reported seeing two men in a red Chevrolet or Ford pickup truck driving through the neighborhoods smashing car windows at random, Wong said.
Investigators have not named any suspects or determined a motive in the vandalism, Wong said.
