The Region : 2 Killed in Freeway Crash in Anaheim

Two medical airlift helicopters responded to a major, fatal accident in the eastbound lanes of the Riverside Freeway near Lakeview Avenue in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol said. The CHP said that details were sketchy but that at least two people were killed and two others were seriously injured. The accident occurred when a westbound sports car carrying one person crashed through the freeway’s center divider and struck another car that was carrying three people, the CHP said.
