Inmate Who Hid in Silo Recaptured in Indiana

PENDLETON, Ind. —
A convict who walked away from a work assignment at the Indiana State Reformatory was recaptured Sunday after authorities found him hiding in a silo on the prison grounds. The search for Terry Drake, 40, had been hampered by heavy rainfall that washed away his tracks, officials said. Drake is serving a 30-year term for the murder of a 25-year-old woman.
