Waldheim Peace Prize?

OSLO —
Austrian President Kurt Waldheim, shunned by many countries because of suspicions about his Nazi past, has been nominated for the 1988 Nobel Peace Prize, a leading newspaper said today.
Dagbladet, based in Oslo where the committee which decides the prize sits, said Waldheim had been nominated by an Austrian doctor of political philosophy at Innsbruck University.
