Women Operating Therapy Salon Arrested on Suspicion of Soliciting
Two Los Angeles County women who operate a “therapy” business in Los Alamitos have been arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution, Los Alamitos police said Monday.
Officers said the arrests took place last Tuesday following a two-week operation in cooperation with the Long Beach Police Department. Plainclothes officers made the arrests after posing as customers and being solicited at the Oriental Therapy West Salon at 5242 Katella Ave., Suite 106, police said.
The two arrested women are Hui Yom Kim, 35, of Hawthorne, and Kyong Cha Yum, 30, of Torrance. Officers said the women, after being booked into the Los Alamitos Jail, were released on their own recognizance.
