Culver City : Thor Named College President
Linda Thor, who has been serving as acting president of West Los Angeles College since March, 1986, has been appointed to the post by the Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees.
“My highest priority is to continue rebuilding the college’s enrollment by strengthening existing instructional programs, developing a variety of new programs and assuring availability of counseling and other important student-support services,” she said.
Thor has implemented a recruitment program that has increased student enrollment by one-third, officials said.
