More than 30 people sustained slight injuries in Milan, Italy, Wednesday night after a riot by pop fans locked out of an open-air concert by David Bowie. Police charged the crowd after fans threw stones, bottles and fireworks over the gates of the soccer stadium where the concert was held, a police spokesman said. About 5,000 fans had been following the concert from a huge television screen set up outside the stadium when the trouble occurred. The concert, the second of Bowie’s current tour of Italy, was attended by more than 65,000 people.
