SHEFFIELD, England —
A dog named Ted will sit in Britain’s new Parliament, taking his place at the feet of newly elected legislator David Blunkett.
The House of Commons’ first-ever canine is the loyal guide dog of Blunkett, 40, who has been blind since birth. The Labor Party’s Blunkett was elected Thursday to represent Sheffield Brightside district in central England.
