Plans for Enlarged Country Club Approved

Share

The City Council has given limited approval to plans by the Rolling Hills Country Club to double its banquet facilities, expand its locker room and retail areas and add a parking structure with 66 spaces. The building’s facade will also be remodeled into a Mediterranean style with stucco walls and a tile roof.

The 4-0 approval was conditioned on the club justifying the size of its proposed kitchen area to the Planning Department.

Plans include increasing the seating in the dining room from 198 to 407. The expanded space would be rented to various groups for private banquets, according to a city report.
