Kidnaped Infant May Die if Untreated, Doctors Say

CHEVERLY, Md. —
The whereabouts of an abducted infant in need of medical attention remained unknown Saturday, police said. Doctors warned that 3-week-old Jeremiah Thate, who was taken from a hospital room Thursday, might die if he does not receive care for pneumonia.
